I don't think anyone here said that these are better than other similar chocolate chips (in fact one person who sells a different brand of chocolate chips was touting that his brand is significantly better). The hype here is about the price.

These are definitely better than the typical chocolate chips. These and California Gourmet are simply in a different league than the typical chips. I personally prefer the CG chips but I can see people preferring these.

the 72%-cocoa is a different formula, 1 add'l ingredient. Very rich, very bittersweet and creamy taste. They are mini-chunks, size 2,000 ct.  Can you PM shipping zip code and we'll PM pricing?
Also, with same 3 ingredients as original KFP are new soy-free mini chips (51% cocoa) coming, too. Dan will like these; need to send after Pesach. Unless he's in CA. Maybe he'll taste before...

If anyone is wondering, both new CG varieties are very good!

The 51% are similar to the original ones, but improved. The 72% chunks (they are more like tiny bars, each the size of a large chocolate chip) taste like good high quality chocolate.

I don't have time before Pesach for a detailed test, but the first impression is really positive.

you can ask a rov, however it's not chometz -- it's kitnoyos and it's coming to your house -- the rov may say that it's fine to put it away until after Pesach.

As you would expect.

The 5lb bag is very good for the price, easily beating most heimishe brands, and without any shady ingredients.

CG 51% > Enjoy life, by quite a bit, but the price difference makes it a unfair test.

72% doesn't really have competition that I know of, but it is very good. (Like a bar)
