Recurring billing issue

I signed for a virtual phone number with callfire, figuring it would be decent as a spare. Costs $3 a month. Of course they somehow snuck in a automatic renewal charge.


Now when I finally call them, they turned off the auto renew, but they claim I have a past due balance of $3.

Should I

A. Just ignore them

B. Pay with an Amex and just charge it back

NEVER ignore a bill no matter how small. Call to deal with it or it  will haunt you later.

100% correct.  And that's what I will end up doing, I just hate the feeling of being suckered into some kinda recurring service.

I never actually used it, I was under the impression it was a prepaid kinda thing, its basically a virtual number that forwards to your real number.
