Do you have a Bank of America account?  They offer free basic payroll if you do direct deposit into a BofA account.

Actually very interesting, looking into this option.

I don't do general banking there either, but use it for payroll accounts.  Note that they do not provide state tax filing with the "basic service."  I think they do do the forms for you though, but you  have to file yourself.

Indeed.
I opened the business advantage account (the better option they have) which has no monthly fee if you do payroll. I think its genius of them to offer this service as it brings both employer and employee accounts.

I'm looking for a free payroll calculator for federal and state?
and then make a pay stub out of it.
I only need 1 every 2 weeks.

Any recommendations

Seems like the big dogs give you a free calculator:

For a small business that can do payroll once a month, I am looking into Wagepoint.com which seems to be $17 for the first employee and $2 for each additional employee, per payroll run. Anyone have any experience with Wagepoint.com?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
