I signed up about a month ago for 60k/$750 FWIW. I'll chat for the extra 10k but I'm not expecting it.

It's all one big YMMV.
I signed up for the 40k offer and was able to get a supervisor to add an additional 20k to match the 60k.
When I tried to get an additional 10k for match this offer I was vehemently denied.
Life is as good as you make it...

I don't think AMEX matches better offers any more?

I signed up in Dec.for 60,000. I called last night and the rep said he will put it through to marketing and I should hear back in 8-10 weeks but he said it should go through. However, the new offer is spend $1000 not $750 so he suggested I add spend which I quickly did.

Also, the Sunpass offer was 80k and now I think it's 85k and I called about that. Still waiting.

They don't match, will sometimes give you courtesy points though. Worth a call.

WORTH $120 AVERAGE, bad deal for me! I value 10 hilton points = 2 cents.

most hilton properties require 40000 to 60000 points  for room costing   $105.00

i redeemed my 200k hilton points for 3 nights at the hilton garden at the suburb of madison wisconsin, would have costed me $320 for the 3 nights if i paid cash. lol
just pointing out the devalued currency.

just kidding but whta i am trying to say is hilton points are better used at few of those  5 star properties at major cities otherwise, most hilton properties  require at least 40000 points for room that costs around $100
