I've been following Jetsmarter for awhile. Those who are members, is it worth it? I used code REDVIKING and it gave me $500 in credits, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet on a membership. Opinions?
Depends. If you fly a lot in first class, or fly private at all, then this is 100% worth it. It definitely has its annoyances which mostly is for the best of the company(ie you can only have 2 Jetshuttle reservations at a time) . If you fly coach mostly or an occasional premium traveler, it probably isn't. Having said that, membership is $9K now, and will probably be double that within 2 years, so if you lock in at $9K you will definitely feel like you got a "deal".
This whole convo reminds me of the points guy, who buys a $42K plane ticket, a jetsmarter membership, and now a centurion card, and tries to justify the "deal" he's getting(i.e having banks pay, or let him write off, while enjoying the perks)
