Just wondering what people think of the new starbucks rewards program. Can anyone figure out how it would actually benefit a current gold member? I basically just get coffee when I go to starbucks so I enjoyed the free drink every twelfth time. But now I have to get about 60 coffees before I could get a free drink (125 star). $:-\$ $:-\$ $:-\$ Don't think I'll be able to keep my gold status (300 stars). I think its a huge mistake on their part. http://morestars.starbucks.com/

very simply, this benefits customers who spend >$5/visit. probably most (non-kosher) customers

You could split by pre-ordering on the app, no big deal.

starbucks just reset my star count because i didnt earn 300 in the last year? What is wrong with them?? i had earned in the last 2 months around 150 which they also took away now...

Try calling them if it's important to you, their reps can be very helpful IME.

Its not important. Its just annoying. They dont give much these days anyways for all these stars
