It would be quite newsworthy.

I think when AMEX allowed you to borrow points against future charges if did not do the charging in time -THEY BILLED the account

DROPR.  I had a similar issue with the rep assuring me I wouldn't get the bonus but I did.

Ask the guys in the selling offers thresd. I hope they are convinced they will get the bonus if they are paying upwards of $650 for no language offers..
