I'm just connecting between delayed and denied signup bonuses and this... It looks like Amex is seriously trying to outsmart us all.
Examples of next moves... ( don't wanna talk but...) limits on approving new cards... Chase, Citi Barclays and BOFA are already doing it...

in my opinion Amex and citi are more reasonable about the game. if you want a cc you can have it no guarantee for any bonuses

AMEX has lost over 40% of their market value over the last year. They have to do something. Not continually giving people free stuff is a logical move.

They'll also slashing labor, which means more outsourcing and/or worse service

To all fellow DDF'ers, keep the faith! We've always figured it out & we will continue to do so. However the days of sharing tips & tricks is definitely over whenever one discovers a loophole going forward. Just not worth being nice sometimes. I do believe though that as long as a computer system & our friends in Mumbai are involved we will have opportunities.

Drastic churning had to get a drastic response, they had to do something... it was/is out of control. I believe once the new system is in place & they feel comfortable they "solved the problem" slowly but surely loopholes will start to emerge.

Just my 2 cents, hang in there peeps!
