I have had the new World of Hyatt credit card since it came out. 

I had a 7 night Hyatt stay from December 27, 2018-January 3, 2019 (i.e., 5 nights in 2018 and 2 nights in 2019).

When the points and night credits posted from this stay, my WOH account showed that I have 7 night credits so far this year.  I can't figure out if I was somehow given credit for all 7 nights of this stay in 2019 (which would be great) or if I got 2 nights for 2019 and the 5 nights for having the WOH card posted at the same time. 

Another way of asking this question is does a stay that spans two different calendar years count toward the year that you check-out?

All 7 nights should count for 2019 in that scenario.

Also, I haven't received the 5 nights yet.

actually @Dan check your account again. they posted on 12/31 for everyone as far as I know.

  If that happened to you, those must have been your 2018 nights.  You would then also get 5 nights in 2019.  I can't see how everyone gets night credits for 2019 on the last day of 2018.

Is there a way for me to see online? Now that it's 2019, it only shows how many nights i have and how many I need to requalify.  thanks

I noticed because I received an email on 12/31 congratulating me for 80 nights and giving me another suite upgrade and I was only at 76 nights at the time... I was not the only one to receive that either.

got my nights as well, No clue why but my 5 nights stayed from 12/31 as well.... and I am not the only one who got that.

my activity shows a reward bonus on 12/31 too, but there’s no description. If I got 5 extra nights I would’ve ended up with 69 anyway. So I’ll never know
