In Italy: Lake Como or Capri?

I ws in Lake Como and it was gorgeous. That being said, there was really not that much to do

i based myself in sorrento, and day tripped to pompeii/mount vesuvius hike, capri and positano, and had a great time. never in como though, but i imagine its just a lake.

my point exactly, albeit a beautiful one. Not even much place to chill (no real beach or anything although i did find an area where no one else was swimming and jumped into the water while my wife watched), although I wasn't inside any of the hotels which are supposed to be very nice (and very expensive)
