pool villa vs. owb

after reading through (too) many TR's, and specifically CS91's recent MLE one, my mind is not made up entirely that owb is the way to go. if im primarily looking for seclusion, privacy and nature's beauty, does the owb give me more advantages over a pool villa? also, there might be more availability and closer options for pool villas vs. owb. of course, im taking affordability into the calculation as well...
 id love to hear opinions from those who have experienced both.

Not that I've experienced either, but just because you can't have something anywhere else doesn't mean it's necessarily the better choice.

exactly my point. and neither when youre on your deck if someone happens to go jetskiing or snorkeling past. or maybe there are rules that im not aware of...

Anyone can snorkel or kayak past, at least at PH MLE. So not much privacy.

It's literally the best hotel I've ever been to. Surpassed anything from the Far East, and any 5 star European hotel.

The villas are huge, service is impeccable and the privacy is amazing. The private pools are massive as well.

Best of all, we had kosher food delivered in less than an hour to or villa.

When are you going? That impacts pricing on booking an OWB for cash outright.

They are plenty private. I don't think I saw anyone kayak or swim by mine when I was in one.
