Odds of instant approvals are always higher if you time an MBM just right.

What happens when you convert mid quarter? Chase is telling me unlimited should get me 5x on the rotating categories until June 30th and then back to 1.5. Any chance that'll be 7.5x???

i don't think it matters where you're coming from, pc=no bonus. you can apply for the card and when/if you get denied just offer to move line of credit from Slate

You're so sure they will approve just because you move CL?

That wasn't his question, he was asking if at a later date he can still get the bonus.

Chase isn't Amex. You would prob have to close the existing card, but I think you would get it.

I applied a few days ago, just called  up the lending dept to review my application. The rep placed me on hold, she came back saying that my application needs additional review and I will get notified via US mail within 30 days... What does that mean ? Did anybody have such experience ? They didn't let me speak to the dept that's handling the application.

And what's the answer to that?

Doing a PC now means no more signup bonus forever?
I'm wondering if you'll have to close the account or PC back away from Unlimited in order to be approved for an Unlimited down the road.

That's a lot of worrying over a blah 15000 UR's.  And there's no need to have multiple FU since they are uncapped on earnings

You never know if they'll have an increased signup bonus in the future. I was thinking to PC now and then switch away when I want to apply at a later time (when 5/24 will work out). Since technically it's not a new card and it's with no signup, I can't see why you'll need to wait 24 months from when you switched away.
