I was asking what he was reffering to not for the speechless comments thread. Thanks though.
Nah, most people who live in passaic are dentists.
Only funny if you know who is saying it, but yes.

..... So don't get me wrong, I am not addressing the rebbe, just what you post as your understanding of the minhag. With all due respect, the Rebbe clearly explains that the reason you and the chasidim do not sleep in the succah is because of a petur of psychological tzar.He does not address why you, who are "mehader" to eat in succah, even when potur because of real physical tzar, don't sleep. (Other than say that if the rebbeh didn't do it than you shouldn't even if his reasons of petur don't apply. This too is not sufficiently explained. How is it compared to a hiddur in haddasim..)I don't understand how when you are "nebach potur" you call it a hiddur.(Just btw, I happen to have recently learned, the inyan of psychological tzar. - imho it is pretty clear from the poskim that there is a chiyuv leyesuvey daatei in most cases... Interesting stuff)
If I have extra time, I'll be visiting my wife
I did 12 tenders at a time. I did not want to test these limits
I haven't yet figured out a way to get paid for posting on DDF.
Thanks for the nomination but I didn't even mean it humorously.I guess that makes up for all the jokes I make that people take seriously.
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
Be careful with people taking your jokes seriously. You may become president
I keep coming across posts (especially in the JS board...) that have wonderful line mentioned in them, even more so when taken out of context. I figured I'll start this thread to share some of the things that got me to smile.DISCLAIMER: I don't mean to offend anyone anyone personally, and everything should be looked at in its original context before attacking or commenting about it.So here we'll start:
