I see you've never tasted Baskin Robbins mint chocolate chip.
TBF almost all brands make a very crappy version esp. when they put in rock-hard chips.
BR puts little scraps of chocolate and it's delicious.

I've been searching for that term since I first saw the post about Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream and just could come up with it. I was thinking of using the term shavings, but that's not it, scraps probably defines it better.

I too have never tasted BR and doubt I ever will. Many years ago did have a mint ice cream with "chocolate scraps". That is the only right way to do it, can't put big pieces or chips in there.
