I didn't try for the first year fee. For the second year, I got a credit of $49.50 (half the annual fee) and 5,000 bonus miles for spending $1k in the next 90 days. I took the offer since the 5k points is worth around $70-75.

I just spent the 50k and on the rewards Activity on Barclays it says:

Congratulations! You have earned Mosaic and it will be valid until December 31st

It doesn't mention the year, but it is until the end of 2019, correct?

I had the same question a few months ago, I never got a clear answer. People over at Barclays seems to think that it might work, but there’s no way to know for sure until you do it. I have a feeling that its separate counters, so it won’t work

there is a counter when you login online so you dont have to spend the full 50k to test

I booked tickets using my jetblue plus card. My wife and daughter have a virus and can’t fly today. Difference in fare to fly tomorrow is $300 PP. How do I properly use the benefits and get reimbursed? Pay the difference and then file a claim later? I called but they are closed on Sunday

Call JetBlue. Good chance they'll change the flights for you without charging a change fee. But they will charge fare difference.

Jetblue Mosaic awarded ~12 days after hitting $50K.

Transaction putting me over 50K = 7/8/18 (not sure when it posted).
Mosaic 15K bonus posted/dated 7/20/18
