TBH, I'd rather they stay around. The business credit that they freely give out makes it worth dealing with them.

Love this pissing contest of who knew about what first. I will just keep laughing all the way to the bank.
It's not about who knew it first, it's about who writes about it in a way that's going to get it killed.
Is that like being a little bit pregnant? A wise person once told me "LESS IS MORE".
Yes, less is always more, everything should be kept offline and just be PM'd to me directly.
As long as you return the favor
No no, my profit, always my profit, who cares if someone else gets screwed.

Don't they gain much more from not making headlines about things and using them personally than the little bit of money they're going to make from one extra blog post? They're all established blogs already, making a steady income, the gain to loss ratio with these things is always going to be way too high to make it worthwhile. Are they just trying to brag? Come across as more knowledgeable? What's the deal? The only blog which really only posts things after they're dead is Miles per Day, and while it's annoying reading about things that you could have made money on had you known about them, it makes sense why he didn't post until they were already dead. There's something about this industry that I really don't understand.
Catchy headlines gets clicks. Secrets get clicks. You get paid by your advertisers for traffic.

Bah, anyone with half a brain knows that AS 12 BMW is worth more than wtvr that post brings in.
Not sure why autocorrect changed this to BMW, was supposed to be MBM in case that wasn't clear.
