Kosher Wineries Master Thread
« on: March 20, 2016, 09:00:14 AM »
I have been searching for a while now for a day trip to a winery while in Israel for Pesach. While it is mentioned here and there randomly there does not seem to be a designated thread discussing this. I feel like there are many people within Israel and with an appreciation for wine on DDF that could help and we could maybe put together a good wiki with places/prices/contact information etc.

Still looking for advice on a good place not too far from Jerusalem that will be open during Pesach.

I saw the Flam website offering tastings upon appointment.

Cost: 90 shekel for just the tasting // 130 shekel for tasting + chesse plate + breads

Ill reach out to find out if they will be offering this during Pesach as well as I have heard great things about their wines.

Just because things turned out a certain way doesn't mean you were right.

Kind of far for a day trip from J'lem but we loved visiting the Tishbi winery and restaurant in Zichron Yaakov back in 2008. Food was great and setting was beautiful.

Too late for Pesach, but right next to Kef Tzuba is the Tzuba winery, and we went on a  nice tour there a few years ago. Enjoy!

Looking for good wines that you can't get in the US.
