Hi Y'all! Quick question -

Considering points value and benefits, if I am going to spend around $40k at a Crowne Plaza, what is the best card to use? IHG with 5x or Ink with 2x or something else?

Citi prestige I'd say, assuming you are taking more than 3 nights... It's 3x per dollar and transfers to a nice variety of airlines

Not IHG. Question is 2X UR vs 3X TYP. If you can hit a bunch of thresholds, all the better.

4th night free can be worth a lot more than anything

When using the same card to book let's say 10 rooms for 4 nights. The prestige will give you 4th free on all of the rooms?

It's not for many nights, just 1 or two nights. Mostly charges for Catering etc. - event.

And the catering is billed through the hotel as a hotel charge?

Definitely 3x TYP than 2x UR, but here you don't need prestige and can use the premier with a much lower AF

I can confirm that but afaiu the fees are all from the hotel.
