Erev sukkos I had water in my basement. It seems that the culprit is some cracks in the concrete next to one of the basement windows. What's the best way to seal that up? Cement? Caulking?

I'm not an expert but from my experience concrete is not waterproof so the fix for this is to prevent the water from pooling around the concrete on the outside of the house. The dirt should be sloped away from the house and all gutter downspouts need to dump the water away from the house.

Can anyone recommend a pressure washer that can clean the 2nd floor of a house?

Thinking about installing an under-cabinet lighting system. Has anyone here done this? Specifically curious about how to wire it.

A kitchen with quartz countertop is looking to replace a 36 inch range with a 30 inch. Any suggestions how to fill the gap in the counter?

Haven't used a fridge since last summer..

A new LG Fridge, which I can't figure how to turn on. Google didn't help. Myself and 3 others have all tried. To no avail... Where would the on switch be??

Outlet has power. Tested it.

There is no knob. Only one button in entire fridge; that says temperature adjust. Tried all diff sequences with it. Still not turning on. Found an online manual, isn't helpful.

Figured it out BH!!

Last year, we put tape over the door sensor, so light doesn't turn on, on Shabbos. (Isn't the main fridge, so don't mind light being off during the week, so just kept tape on, all week long)... After summer, pulled out plug to turn off fridge for winter...

Now, when I plugged in the fridge, and opened fridge door, it was supposed to turn on automatically... (Hence the reason it wasn't discussed in manual)... However, because it wasn't registering that the door got opened, it never turned on...

Thanks for your help!

Plugged a US 120 volt peanut trimmer into something that was masquerading as a step down transformer from 220 to 110(but obviously didn't...  :'()
Something went POP inside, opened it up and found that a capacitor (?) had more or less self destructed.
Where can I find a replacement for it (capacitor/resistor)? I know how to solder, I just need the part...

I know with Andis there's a life time warranty. I would call Wahl and see what they say or if they are willing to fix or sell you the part.

I'm looking to get a power washer on prime day. I have a 2 story house with vinyl siding. What specs should I be looking for? I don't want a gas one.
Thanks

Do you actually want to own one or would renting from home depot do the trick? Buying saves money over the course of a few years but you have to store it.
