Elal 99 shekel is great, but from Jerusalem its almost faster driving there. You have to be by the airport a hour before, travel time to airport, flight.... I prefer loading the car and driving down there, the hassle with kids at the airport, check in, security, shleping suitcases...door to door with the car is much easierI got pulled over on the way to Eilat doing 137, as a tourist no big deal. But most Israelis dont speed now already, as the 90 is full of cops. So it will not change that much. The only problem being every fine will cost a handling fee by the rental company
To rub some salt in the wounds.I was in MUC last week, and only a few miles on the highway, still managed to pull 145mph.Without kids obviously.
