Now that there YouTube music, does that effect anything on Google music?

For listeners, not yet.
Google plans to phase out Google music for YouTube music.

For now all they've done is killed the Artist Hub where you could upload independent music without a studio backing.

Hopefully they will manage the transition well, but someone I doubt it.

For me the best thing about Google play music is that I can rely on the "radio" feature to only play Jewish music when starting it from the right artists etc, and the ability to upload music.

I Don't know how well either of these will transfer over.

Currently a subscription includes both along with YouTube Red, you need to buy it from the YouTube side

Take a look at the "related artists" for each person, it's usually pretty good.
Maybe they use the historical info of what people browse from artist to artist and song to song, and since most people don't listen to both, their algorithm segregates Jewish artists on its own?

I wonder how a "connection chart" would look for the Jewish artists compared to the wider music world, and what few artists will be the "connection points" to both worlds.
