Maybe, make separate charts with all the options(AA, BA, one ways, round trip)  for each class (economy, business, etc.) instead of including them on one chart and separating the different options. IMHO it makes it easier to compare when you don't have to scroll back to see what the other one was.
Can you be more clear on how the chart should look?

Got lost in a deep rabbit hole today and wound up making this:
https://www.dansdeals.com/points-travel/milespoints/deep-dive-best-way-use-miles-fly-american-british-airways-us-london/

Thoughts on how to dumb it down anymore? Typos?
Thanks :)

I took a look at Boston to London one-way, London to Boston one-way, and Boston to London round-trip to see if you’re better booking Boston to London round-trip or separate Boston to London and London to Boston one-way awards.

Incredibly twisty

Possible replacement:
I took a look at the Boston to London route, to see if you're better booking Boston to London round-trip or separate Boston to London and London to Boston one-way awards.

Wow! Quite the rabbit hole
120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-

I think what he was saying is to make a chart of economy with all the options, premium with all the options, business etc.

Lol, guess I scared everyone off.
What happened to the disclaimer?
Maybe add a section London to TLV and if it would be more worthwhile than direct?

Hmm. That's a full rework and would need 7 new charts. Worth the time and effort?

Its definitely easier to understand. I usually know what class I'm booking and compare between the airlines.

Can't fit that many columns in a chart.

Maybe put the mileage transfer options after the charts

Also, put the summary paragraph of "should you book a ba flight..." After the last chart

Then I don't know, but it still might be worthwhile to add something like this:

Small people talk about other people.
Average people talk about things
BIG PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IDEAS.

Amazing post!

I think the chart layout is great, (understanding the fact that that not many more columns can be added).

I find the summary of cheapest mileage before the charts to be extra! Most people can do the math and will use the chart visuals rather then reading the words. For those that don't do the math, they won't understand anyways and will ask in the comments.   ;D

Making the point; I think people don't need to know JAL has cheapest mileage, ETC, as most wont use JAL.....

Etihad might be an option worth to add ;)

In economy the fewest amount of miles goes to Qantas at 20.3K, while booking with American or Alaska miles will yield a ticket for an extra couple thousand miles, but will allow you to avoid fuel surcharges.

120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-

In business, JAL is the winner at just 42K miles and no fuel surcharges.

In business, JAL miles are the winner at just 42K miles and no fuel surcharges.

In business, JAL is the winner at just 80K miles and no fuel surcharges.

In business, JAL is a huge winner at just 42K miles and no fuel surcharges.

In business, JAL is a winner at just 80K miles and $692.

Any reason for the different wording in each section?

Didn’t go through the whole thing but what I did notice is that you were using Boston. I’m sure you had a reason but wouldn’t most of your readers benefit from an article about NYC more?
