Our room was right off the NW corner room on the 16th floor, so we had great views of Manhattan. Beds are very comfortable, and the room feels very fresh. No mini-bar in the room, leaves the fridge completely empty so you can use it for your own stuff. Bathroom was nice too, though the doors do not have locks, they just slide to close. There was a walk-in shower with no tub. WiFi in the room was very fast and complimentary.
The Westlight Balcony is a great place to hang out, they have couches and torch fires outside which is great for the winter. There is a separate set of elevators for Visitors to Westlight, and another set for hotel guests.
Pool Deck on the 4th floor does close during the off-season, so I did not have a chance to see it or the nearby outdoor patio.
The hotel is right near the B32 bus on the corner, that can take you to a Minyan or a restaurant.
