It says it only uses 10% less space. It def seems less clunky but at 5x the price of a standard hotplate I don't see it really worth it

It looks like the benefit is that it folds. Assuming it's not very heavy it would be great for traveling.

yep, truth is I skimmed through the posts and passed over yours, was in response to those who said it isn't in the us yet

I personally agree to the fact that the money probably isn't worth it, but you guys missed or didn't mention the feature that it let's you have 2 different temperatures which is definitely a nice feature as it can be for cholent/soup very hot and for stuff that's already cooked low heat(just an example).
Imho that's a very powerful feature combing ofcourse the compactness feature with it.

thats not a new feature,  have a hotplate that in the center its the hottest and the more further you go to the edge it gets colder and colder, so it has alot of temperatures depending where you put the food on

I might be mistaken but that didn't sound like a "feature" rather you are using your preticular hot plate in a smart way but I might be wrong.
also, the size of each pot/9×13 is separate more neat, at the same te iy limited space of course.

no, its actually a hot plate special made for this and its also a very big one so there is place for 5 6 pots
