so if I paid for "lifetime" m+ a few months ago, to allow a specific plan, and both are now being canceled, what happens if I now dispute the months-old credit card charge?
you will not lose your member plus or your top up and in the interim you have access to cheaper add on and in the future to other benefits . Just make sure when your plan changes to the holding plan, to switch it to any other plan before it completely expires and then you would have the scenario you mentioned. Not so great for the time being or for feature phone or iPhone users but hopefully better options in the future

I have BLT plan, so it was supposed to move to the holding plan on Dec. 1. I just found out about this last night.

I just checked my dashboard, and I'm still on the BLT. What does that mean?

Mine is still showing, but I guess that's only until my bill cycle ends.

I actually added another line, with unlimited talk and text, for a basic phone, for $10.

I thought they would take the payment from my top up on the other line, but they didn't.

Is there a way to transfer top up funds from one line to another?

I am on surfing Rubin plan and I got a email that I can change to the moonlight plan. But I don't see that option when I am logged into my account. I am currently in the free 7 day holding plan

From reading it, it seems it depends on total usage by all members on the plan, so they don't really know.
