Whatsapp has always been extremely slow to add simple features even when they weren't the must have app.

My biggest issue is the limited search functions and you  can't add people to groups.

RingPlus is the same thing. Why can't you activate the service, and just not use the calling?

(Personally, I love the freedom having your number connected to Google voice instead of attached to a carrier provides.)

Whatapp recently unveiled A Join link which changes everything .
in the past you had to invite 200 people 1 by 1 ,
now you can submit a link and click it and you'll join.


There's even a group on WhatsApp specifically for Links to other groups.


IMHO it's a disaster .

but you can create groups in a matter of seconds and have Hundreds of people in your group.

I took a peak at telegram and it seems to work a lot faster.

I also enjoyed that there are several style rooms you could have.
