My bad, you seem to be hating on kasich and if your now backing of trump and you previously narrowed it down to a 4 person race (sorry dont know how to add more posts) id assume your knocking out kasich that leads us to belive that your either voting for bernie or hillary, you also previously said hillary is a extremist, unless you hold yourself to be an extremist ill have to conclude your a Bernie Commee ... entirely possible your playing devils advocate and got us all confused ...

I actually like Kasich. This thread is about support for Cruz but Trump is dominating the discussion. Cruz portrays himself as walking on water and I am not buying it. You and others like Cruz and that is fine.

The fact that trump is dominating the discussion is #1 mostly as it pertains to Cruz and #2 trying to convince trumpsters that Cruz is the best choice we can make at the moment

Trump is the only one that can win this outright and I don't see that happening. You can throw the RNC rules out the window once we have a brokered convention. They are trying to recruit Paul Ryan. How many states did he win?

Who are "they"? The media? Cruz has dominated in the delegate game, Trump has his delegates despite his carelessness, Kasich has almost nothing. Without delegates you get nowhere.

The rules committee can throw out rule 40 or change it, whatever they feel like. But considering Cruz s reputation of the last few months getting the support of delegates in Louisiana, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Indiana, North Dakota and others it would seem he has a pretty nice chance if it comes to a 2nd ballot. Unless of course the rules committee changes the rules that it has nothing to with delegates... lets all keep in mind that the RNC is a "private organization" and they can do whatever they like... if you dont like it open your own corrupt party...

Not sure i understand... they haven't changed the rules yet, the current rules are from over a year ago... and those rules are meant to stop Cruz. .. or are you referring to the fact that he knows the rules, playing by them and beating them at their own game?

The rules as they stand now will limit the options to Trump or Cruz. The only way that can be changed is by a vote at the convention of the rules committee. The committee members are chosen in a similar process to the delegates and Cruz has been dominating that process more so than the delegate process. By doing so he ensures that any changes will be in his favor.
