ATT Blackberry on TMobile
« on: March 17, 2011, 08:40:57 AM »
I unlocked a ATT Blackberry to use on TMobile. Everything (data,PIN,txts, phone calls) works fine besides emails. Any suggestions?

Make sure tmobile provisions your blackberry to work on their settings (just call them up they are very easy about it. they provisioned my bb even though I have prepaid and don't pay for data or email)

Had a unlocked 9000 bought a prepaid sim on tmobile for the unlimited web day pass for 1.49 for some reason it wasn't giving me the option to buy it so I bought it on a different phone and it worked than when I put it back into my bb I couldn't connect to the internet so I called them was on the phone for an hour and the provisioned my phone and since than I've been having unlimited internet bb email etc. The only thing that still cost me is calling (cause I usee gvoice for texting).
The only problem is on a att bb you only get tmobile EDGE but when I was in canada since I was roaming on rogers towers which is the same band as att I had 3G also with no roaming charges (btw the way to know if they configured your phone properly is if the edge in the corner is in uppercase)I figured this out by mistake and can't guarantee anything could be it was just my phone or my luck
