He didn't completely omit details. He stated that the terrorists were hiding there and using civilians as human shields. He argues though that the amount of force was excessive and caused more civilian casualties than it should have.

This guy who constantly rails out against Israel doesn't know the simple numbers of Palestinians killed, not even in the ballpark range? He cares about Palis? Obviously not, because he would know a little bit more about their plight instead of resorting to made up numbers that never had any chance of being true.
