Hey everyone - we recently started Crisp, a subscription service for groceries that’s cheaper than the prices you would find at the grocery store. We’re currently starting in San Francisco and we need your help spreading the word.
**How does this work?**
Go to
http://getcrisp.co/codes/?ref=dd and sign up for your personal referral code. If someone signs up for any of our recurring plans with your code, we’ll give you a $10 Amazon gift card. If they sign up for the just once option, we’ll give you a $5 Amazon gift card.
Feel free to use your own referral code! You won't get an Amazon gift card, but you will get $10 off.
At the moment, we’re only delivering to San Francisco city addresses. If you know someone that’s interested in the service, but doesn’t live in San Francisco, they can leave their e-mail address but we can’t afford to pay any money out for this.
**What is the service?**
Grocery stores are really inefficient - 40% of produce is wasted and 80 cents of every dollar you spend on food at the store goes into overhead. We take orders ahead of time and buy in bulk from wholesalers, then re-package individual orders.
People can sign up for a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly subscription, or just try it out for one week.
**What’s the catch?**
There is none. We’re brand new and every new customer is extremely valuable to us at this stage. We need your help to spread the word and want to make sure you get something in return for the effort.
If you have any questions, we’re happy to answer in the comments!
