why are chase points worth more than amex points?

anyone know why? what special transfer does chase have that amex doesn't?

This might not be your answer but definitely a perk that chase UR transfers instantly as apposed to Amex

Amex has more transfer partners and some of them transfer instantly. SQ for example takes just as long with UR and MR.

so if I have 25k amex points and 25k chase points and I need one ticket on united domestically with saver award availability.
what can chase do that amex cant?
if I wanted coach or first class which of them has the partners that cost the least amount (assuming saver award is available)
