Fidelity Cashback (2%)

Amex: Effective January 15, 2021, the definition of a cash advance will now include “precious metal coins or bullion.” However, as of July 2021, this does not seem to be enforced.

Safest way is Registered Mail. Now you could make a case about FMV for the say at 1k and insure it for that.
I've heard this before. Is registered mail really handled so differently than a regular piece of priority mail?

Yes as there is a chain of custody at each transfer if done correctly.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Did anyone look into submitting to PCGS through an authorized dealer?

That you ascribe certain additional value to things in a sports legacy context (i.e. "winning it all"), does not take away from the perfection and accomplishment of the 2007 Pats 16-0 regular season (compared to others), the perfection of the PF70 coin (compared to PF69), or the analogy.  It takes a mental clarity to be able to understand an analogy.  Just because the lowest-common denominator here is unequipped with the necessary mental acuity to divorce this from their own preconceived sports biases doesn't mean the analogy hasn't served it's purpose ;)

So what percentage of these are getting a 70 from PCGS?
Any DDFers have a membership we can share?

I thought of that but how would one know if the coin that comes back is "your coin" if everybody is submitting the same one?

You could sell the batch together and split. Or raffle off the coins by an identifying mark (eg tracking)

...or just open the box. You know there is a label on the outside of the box.  ;)
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

"LG: How do you see the value trajectory of both Silver Eagle key coins going forward?

EJ: Assuming the Mint has the same return and damage rate as the 2011 anniversary set, the 2019-S Enhanced Reverse Proof will come in around 29,964 coins. Given that the 95-W in PR-69 is a roughly $3,000 coin, you can expect the 2019-S to move into this price range over the next 10 years or less for a run of the mill example. The 2019-S PR-70 price behavior is more difficult to project. Don’t assume that the fantastic 1995-W PR-70 prices running between $8,000 and $20,000 associated with the 95-W will show up on the 2019-S. That will depend on grade through rate. The 1995-W does not grade all that well, so 70s are hard to come by. If most of the 2019-S issues can make 70, then the prices on them will fall well short of the 95-W. If, on the other hand, the 2019-S grades poorly, then the 70 could end up terribly expensive."

Supposedly, membership comes with 4 or 5 (forgot) gradings.

Which is better for us who won’t have 100 to grade as there’s a better shot at getting a 70. But the reward won’t be a 10x premium if half are graded as 70.

What is the delta in value between the hand signed coin and regular one, does anybody have a sense?
Legitimate sellers on ebay (high feedbacks and multiple coin sales) are asking $15,000 and $17,500 for a hand signed coin (#40 and #50). I imagine that being one of the first ten coins (especially #1) would be asking more than that.
BTW, for those not willing to do the research that I did (only took 45 seconds), signed means that the mint director hand signed the COA of the first 100 coins minted with a handwritten number 1 - 100.
