Fidelity Cashback (2%)

Amex: Effective January 15, 2021, the definition of a cash advance will now include “precious metal coins or bullion.” However, as of July 2021, this does not seem to be enforced.

It has to be shipped/drop off by today? Or have a label from today?

Thanks.
One way to find out

Seems like if box is sealed you can still get first strike even after PCGS cutoff date.
"TWO WAYS

TO OBTAIN THE FIRST STRIKE DESIGNATION

1

postmark

The package mailed to PCGS must be postmarked before or on the PCGS cutoff date for that particular coin/issue. Only the coins need to be mailed to PCGS within the first 30 days of of issue.

2

shipping

Submit the coins in the original unopened shipping box from the U.S. Mint with a postmark date prior to the specified PCGS cutoff date."

I was mistaken with option 2. I thought the postmark date is on the shipping label. Apparently, the postmark date is from the U.S. mint on the invoice.

Interesting... As long as US mint shipped it out to you before 30 days? I spoke with NGC last week. They said it must be in their office by Monday, Dec. 7. Sealed box after cutoff date will not be acceptable for first releases/first strike.

I had the same conversation with NGC.
I guess that he is referring to PCGS

My sealed box, doesn't have a postmark from the mint.
It has a usps tracking number, which if you google, shows it was delivered mid November. Should that be fine?

Inside the box there should be an invoice with the date. I believe that helps.

I have four of these silver coins sitting around..
I see all the talk here about sending it in for grading, can someone please be kind and explain in short what the process is, how much it costs, and how I do it.
Also, by how much does the coin go up in value.

Thanks in advance

Grading 4 coins should cost you about $80-$90 a coin and potentially bring up the value to $900-$1000. That will only be if you grade a 70, but if you get graded a 69 that can bring the value of coin about $50 less than if the box was sealed. Statistically it's about a 50/50 in getting a 70 grade. So if you have 4 coins there's a big chance 1 will be a 70 and that'll make it all worth it.

Thanks so much for explaining.
So I think I’ll send it in, is there anyone sending that I can chip in with?
