they are only matching if you requested prior to ordering as they are taking all the risk. I think the only issue of selling to someone else is that he will be considered mechuser nemenah and if he thought they will match even post ordering or never thought the prices will go up so much than he would be allowed to sell to someone else.

is there an alternative/cheaper way to grade. currently you need to pay $69 just to be a member then on top of that the $35 cost + $18 first strike + $15 for certificate slab on this coin. With shipping looking at over $150+ just to get it graded with pcgs

Their target market is dealers, not individuals/collectors.  If you have a number of coins to be graded (or band together with folks that do) you can reduce your price per grade.

I am planning to keep my coin and want to have it graded as well.  Are there dealers that will send it in for you and charge you based on their own cost?
