If this coin deal frenzy wetted anyone’s
appetite for actual coin collecting, I highly recommend you look into collecting ancient Jewish coins. (Yes, from EY 2000 years ago, Beis HaMikdash era).
For a few dollars you can literally hold a treasured piece of Jewish history minted by our ancestors in your hands. (Versus a random piece of American silver stamped by a machine in 2019.)
There is quite the variety to collect- in terms of material (bronze, silver, Roman gold) and price (from $2 to 200k or more).
You can buy from dealers, coin auctions and even ebay (be wary of many fakes on eBay)
