The info he is requesting is public knowledge, meaning it's not sensitive info.
Final payment might be the total on all coins you have?

Correct all 3 boxes.
I can give him my info, I have nothing to lose.
He can look up my cell phone number and find all that info himself.

Now to the next question can a certified Bank check be reversed?
I don't want to deposit it and then see that it was reversed or the check was dot-dot. Obviously I'm going to wait till it clears before I give him anything.

And since when do you need all the information to write out a check to someone?

Why don't you sell it on Ebay? Did the value drop?

Listed all 3 on eBay, who knows what they're going to sell for.

Looking for $1050 for each coin.
The past few sales sold for a bit over a thousand but then I still have to pay fees.

Yes it did..
Going price for a closed box is $1100 or so.
While the 69 a bit less and 70 for a bit more ..

Now to grade all three coins I'm taking a risk that I might get a 69 or two 69s or maybe three 70s...
Or sell all three closed and now I have a guaranteed median profit.

Someone just meantoined it to me tonight, after I told him what I want to do on Craigslist(he said on Craigslist accept nothing but cash), will try it out and see what happens.

SCAM! Anytime I list something on craigslist about 15 people message me they want to mail a check. After a little research it's pretty obvious it's a scam. Seems like they either mail fake checks, or stolen checks, etc.... here are quotes from craigslist buyers.

"I'm interested in buying it but i won't be chanced to come and take a look at it due to my busy work schedule.Can you take a check payment and wait for it to be cleared and cashed before asking my mover to meet at any location of your choice to pick up, i don't mind paying $100 extra for holding it for me, thanks.....?"

"Sounds good,would you be okay with Bank Certifies Cashier's Check as my form of payment? And after it clears your bank i have my moving agent come to your address for the pickup..If that's okay,please get back to me with the name to be on the check and your mailing address to mail the payment out asap..Thanks"

Don't accept checks from craigslist. You can accept a Bank Wire, Zelle, Venmo, Paypal.

Being that were living in such a crazy world, I would think twice before doing any mobile payment with a stranger.
Even though Zelle or paypal is a lot safer and much much harder to reverse the payment.

I think venmo is the safest. Once sent there is no possible way to get the money back inless the receiver sends it back

America The Beautiful quarters, 51st design was just released in February. It features American Samoa (they ran out of states) and the image on the reverse is a FRUIT BAT. I'm hoarding these coins for posterity.

My question is why does the mint sell these quarters above face value? For example 100 quarters ($25) cost $36.75. Anyone know why?
