Fidelity Cashback (2%)

Amex: Effective January 15, 2021, the definition of a cash advance will now include “precious metal coins or bullion.” However, as of July 2021, this does not seem to be enforced.

My question is why does the mint sell these quarters above face value? For example 100 quarters ($25) cost $36.75. Anyone know why?

America The Beautiful quarters, 51st design was just released in February. It features American Samoa (they ran out of states) and the image on the reverse is a FRUIT BAT. I'm hoarding these coins for posterity.

So I had a coin lying around from the original deal, still sealed in the original packaging from the mint, and my wife accidentally opened it. As I recall, the issue with opening the box was that it contained a graded certificate directly from the mint, and by keeping the box closed, then any subsequent purchaser had the chance of finding a coin with a desirable grading. Does this sound correct? If so, what's the scale of grades? Thanks!

anyone know anything about the new deal from PFS? Worth buying and holding or selling on eBay? They arent using labels so you have to drop off in CH.

I'm happy to immediately resell these coins to anyone interested. Feel free to PM me. I'd rather deal with someone directly versus the buyer clubs.

ADDENDUM: Happy to hand deliver in Manhattan/Brooklyn

Site is moving along quite fast and doesn't seem like it's going to be sold out any time soon.

While it's interesting that ppl are selling for such a big markup on eBay.

I guess it's still out within the next few hours it will still retain its value.

Obviously if they would have sold out within the first few minutes that would give it a great value.

I thought being that it was colored would be enough of a reason for the sellout, as  a collector's item

The fact that they are offering $25 kinda shows how uncertain they are that it will be a sellout

$25 is an ok profit.

For an item that they're unsure if it will sell out that's a high buyout price.

With a pretty high mintage limit.

With such a high mintage limit and household limit of 2,  there was no chance of that happening.
