BGs are saying that there's a big chance the demand will be low and the coin won't be sold out...

Ya, but they already closed their sign up form so that wouldn't really make sense.

What's to lose at this point? If there is no demand, the coin can be returned.

Not sure that makes sense. I would think that the more buyers they have subscribed, the more likely they are to have some buyers get the coin.

you think it will sell out within the first couple minutes?
I highly doubt it. The price point is too high.

Wouldn't bank on there being interest, unless a BG needs to fulfill a PO.

But many buying clubs have expressed interest which means that there are a lot of existing order. And you can double that number because you can be sure that whoever is placing an order through the buying clubs are also ordering one themselves.

They are committed to buying from anyone who subscribed.

Correct, so that means that they truly don't expect the demand to be high. Meaning, they are not playing games by closing their subscription.

Are you buying a $3k coin to add to your personal collection?
You would be surprised at how few coins, some of these BG committed to.

15 minutes left.
My speculative guess is a slow sell out (>15 Minutes) if at all on the first day. Huge premium over spot makes it unattractive to bullion investors. And high price point puts the series out of the reach of most collectors.

Kind of summed it up.
IMO the EK is not a hot coin for collectors.
So if they have a small order to fulfill and they have 10 extra buyers, that's $30k.

Is it possible to cancel an order with the Mint before it ships? Do they ship same day?

  Why would you think so?
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Because they are paying the BG a premium, so if they want just one, they will order it themselves.

Most of the buyers are going to have them graded and sell them. They're banking on there being demand, but it doesn't mean the demand is there.
