Four month old daughter won't take baby bottle

BH I have a four month old daughter who is currently being nursed by my wife, but we are trying to transition to bottles, and my daughter refuses to take them. We've tried different kinds of bottles, different feeding positions, and I even tried wearing my wife's shirts while feeding my daughter for the smell.  We've tried formula and pumped milk, but nothing has worked. She will cry with the bottle in her mouth and maybe drink half an oz. . Any other ideas? Thanks!

My babies would go to the babysitter for 5-6 hours and never take a bottle

Normal. Keep trying eventually they take it.. Don't give up though. Can take a week + of fighting.

For future reference, give babies one small bottle a day from day one.

Maybe try giving it with ur wife not in the room so the baby doesn't smell mommy

My son wouldn't take bottles at all, we tried everything. At 9 months we went cold turkey, he didn't drink  for two and a half days, but he finally took it.

Neither of our kids were remotely interested in bottles and we never tried to force the issue.

Skip a feeding or two. Take the bottle and put it in the babys mouth. Then squeeze the bottle or nipple so the baby will get the taste in the mouth.

Try several things:

1. Try Materna formula (milk not soy). It's expensive and hard to find, but apparently it "taste better".
2. Keep trying to feed her, and like the previous post, don't try doing it at first when she's hungry.
