@Dan if and when you plan to fly LY, make sure they know in advance, they upgrade their service level when they find it important (I would think they would consider your website important enough to provide you with upgraded service).

No big hidush here. But you're definitely right about @Dan,
remember the VIP treatment they provided to Lucky, with a fancy car and dedicated staff on the ground (and no doubt the staff in J was briefed too)

Well, it seems like in extraordinary cases they add staff and provide special mattresses (though that was pre 787 days).

Im trying to get Bassinets for my kids But ELAL says they dont issue bassinets over 1Y, they told my sister that they dont issue over 9m , are there anyways around it? im flying J booked with Qantas award.

9m is correct. But when flying J it doesn't matter. You can choose any seat. Bassinet seats are not blocked

Thanks, trying to do that i also see on SG that there is only 1 bassinet seat in J on LY28?

The article is unclear about how they will achieve the densification. I'd say its much more likely they will make it 10 across than cut the legroom like that.

Flight from Israel RT - flown TLV - JFK with LY. Un Flown JFK TLV.
They have a return ticket but now there are not sure when want to fly back anyone know if I can change this ticket to an "open" ticket?

Pretty much, yes. Contact the travel agent and tell them to cancel the return segment. When you want to book the return, you will need to pay the change fee and any difference in fare. (Probably needs to be within a year from ticketing date)

No
They once told me that you can "upgrade" to a regular ticket and then pay the change fee. But it's probably not worth it....

Thanks; If I do this but I paid for extra leg room seating will I loose the amount I paid for the extra leg room or will I be able to use on the next flight ?
