You can call Elal- you should be able to utilize the have a same day free change policy as long as they have seats available in the same class you booked it in.

You can't get a bassinet once your kid is older than 9 months old.
Best seats would be 1 DG that are closer to each other

I was thinking 4DG and based on what it says on EL AL seat selection. "easy access and special needs" vs "narrow access"

It's easy access because the seats face the aisle, so as a result they are further away from the other seat.

Really wonder how this will unfold
IMHO LY is 'too big to fail' and the government is likely keen on having an airline it can rely on when necessary.. but the unions are aware of this, especially the pilots.

Whoa.... There was statement Elal put out  a while ago how they closing down all customer service for now and when they open up late April, Early May they will take care of all refunds etc....
