At any rate, having Gold with El Al for the next year will now definitely have me flying with them as first pick whenever possible
Flycard Premium will be getting Gold status for a year.
That will drive massive incremental traffic into (the already packed) KD lounge, IMHO
The main plus is the upgrade vouchers
Sigh, guess no interesting changes will ever happen. The company is such a turtle. Other airlines have managed to completely overhaul their loyalty and financial offerings in no time. Besides a few random Covid perks, El Al has run in place.
What happened to the changes you mentioned yesterday?
Maybe they'll end up happening still. But usually the new guy insists on forming more useless steering committees and seeing all sorts of analyses before... not taking any action.
If they somehow managed to sign two major earn/burn agreements, I'd be amazed if those weren't implemented.
I don't think they used that language, rather that it was looking bright and hopeful.

Nice. Made your Asiatako reservation?
I was booked on flight 25 from TLV to EWR on April 14. I just got an email that they moved me to flight 11 from TLV to JFK. It looks like they cancelled flight 25. (And I see in this thread that a few other people have also reported that El Al switched them from EWR to JFK)JFK is bad for me. And the remaining flight to EWR (at 12:30AM) is also bad for me. And a refund doesn't help me either. What I would really like is for them to put me on United 85 instead. Is there any chance of getting that?
