If no seat, then they ask you to gate check it. Emirates allows you to take it along in the plane even if you don't have a seat for the child

Personally I prefer the $40 duty free credit. There was no kosher food in the most recent lounge they have been using IINM, so anyway i prefer $40 over a few free drinks.

Its normal for it to take up to about 10 days. Recently it’s been taking only a few days, but up to 10 I wouldn’t worry.
