Also does travel need to be by 12/31 or can be after 12/31 as long as booked by 12/31?

Any idea how long it generally takes to receive the voucher? I summited the cancelation request last Friday and still haven’t heard anything from EL AL. When contacting them via Whatsapp they tell me to contact my travel agent. Thanks!

I booked on Sat nite 12/24 and requested on 1/1 (the next Sunday). I assumed that's enough time to report. Maybe the US holidays changed when the ticket reports?

Or being a travel agent helps?

because it still stays a lite fare, your paying to change the flight, not the fare type
