On a TLV-JFK flight, is premium economy worth $300-$400 more than regular economy? I recognize this is subjective, but have no experience so looking for people's own personal preference based on experience, thanks.

Sounds like good price, for e+ elal charges $99 (United is $150 plus depending on seat) and premium is much better.

Whether it's worth it is subjective as you say, it definitely can be if you can afford it.

To book an award ticket, contact the call center at *2550 or +972-3-9771111. Award tickets are available for Alaska Airlines and QANTAS).

Anyone brave enough to try calling an see if they can actually book something?

Is it typical to get a cancelation email saying will get refund from amex when received a voucher a while back?

Tried now.
My agent said it can be done - no issue - distance based.
I didn't try to issue a ticket for sake of not wasting their time

Yes, sometimes. You'll still get the 35% back

Thanks. Interesting that they know about the cancelation,  assuming they get notified before the flight..

as long as there's no refund to the card* you'll get the points

*I actually have gotten the 35% even when the card was refunded, but I assume that they'll be clawed back

A friend is booked on LY26 from EWR to TLV tomorrow.

FlightAware and FR24 are both showing the flight is cancelled, but LY site and app showing on schedule. Where would FA and FR24 be getting the "cancelled" data from?

How do I book for <2 child on elal? Do I search for a seat 2+ and just put the correct DOB later?

What are price rules for kids? Is it a specific % for certain ages?
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.
