when searching via pointsyeah.com

I just tried to book online and nada. BTW the price that it shows online is not accurate
The price was 30072 miles and $31.11 vs the 30k miles and $31.75 that was showing online

I have a El Al flight leaving JFK this week, and due to the circumstances will be arriving to the airport pretty close to the flight. Will I save myself time by not bringing luggage to check in, and go straight to security? Or I have to anyways go to the check in counter?
You can pick up your boarding pass at a self-service kiosk at the airport, but you'll anyway need to get in line for pre-check-in security questions, so don't think not checking a bag will save you that much time

Actually you sometimes have long lines at security questions before luggage drop off. So in that case it pays to print your BP, and have the questions asked at boarding.

Anyone get PRECHECK to show up on the Boarding Pass printed at home?   My reservation has my Known Traveler number, but it never shows up with ELAL.

Not sure about printing at home, but at the airport precheck always shows up on my ELAL boarding pass

Means nothing, you can change your ticket and get a voucher if you cancel (for flights up to Jan 31), on ELAL flights to/from the US always come with seat selection, carry on bag and a checked bag

If I book elal on chase/amex for summer and then want to change, what are my options?

Booking a flight now for August. AFAIU the cancellation window on elal doesn't extend to then. I can either pay the $29 to get the voucher, but I'd prefer to use hybrid points. ANyone have any experience with cancellation on an elal flight booked through chase? What are the cancellation fees/process? Is it possible to get a voucer (obv for a fee)? tried googling and searching elal clunky website, but no success. TIA

"Flexibility when changing flight tickets to the Americas only: Customers buying flight tickets to destinations in the Americas before March 31, 2024, can freeze or alter their tickets for departing flights before May 31, 2025, or one year from the day of ticketing, whichever comes first, without change/handling fees." NOTE: TA like chase or amex might charge a change fee

I just arrived with elal from ewr. My suitcases didn't arrive. (And that's in business class)
Elal filled out a repoet if they find it but they also said they don't take ant responsibility even if it isn't found (let alone my having to pyrchase stuff cuz I have nothing here)
Anyone out there can help me what to do. Isn't there some knd of american law that they have to compensate?

I refunded a ticket using Chase points, they charged my card $278 and the points were instantly returned to the account.

They will reimburse you for expenses. Once you have a report then you can call with that report number and ask them where it is. When it happened to me this past summer they told me over the phone I can spend $200 for the 1 day delay. It ended up being delayed longer and I spent more money and they reimbursed me fully. Just make sure you take pictures of all of your receipts and documents related to your baggage (your missing bag report, your luggage tag stubs, documentation it was returned to you etc.)

Is there discussion somewhere booking Elal using MR points, what are the options and pros and cons?

-use bix plat to buy business tickets and then cancel for vouchers, does that still work?
- Transfer to delta and book on miles

any other options?
