Best option is United's 772 as that's more spacious in Y than the 77W.

You could book a tentative reward flight and pay the change fee down the road ($60 I think), up to a year.

I am flying
El al on a Iberia ticket.  How do I pick a seat and meal on the el al portion.
Iberia says I need to wait until I get to the airport which makes no sense, especially for the meal.

Should be able to do it if you track down the LY PNR. I don't remember exactly how I did this but once you get that you should have access to most options online.

Only whatever it says on that page will count toward status.

I believe it's not possible. You have to earn the points through flying, as even if you have a Flycard only 20% of the points earned through the card are counted for status

Charge 40K ILS a month (can be equivalent annualized average) to an Israeli Fly Card Premium and you will get Platinum.  Top Platinum is only through blood, sweat, and tears
