TSA Precheck not showing up on boarding pass for EWR. The online profile shows my TSA# but when checking in it doesnt show on boarding pass, any way to fix this?
it won't. they'll give you a new one at the airport.

Not an IT issue. The only boarding pass they consider real is the one they give you at the airport. It will have pre-check

Ouch. Ok, thanks for the info.  I guess I'll have to keep it as one trip and just pay the extra miles.

What extra baggage allowance do Delta Medallion Silver or Gold get on ElAl flights? Does it apply to all passengers on the PNR or just the Medallion member?

I would like to buy a ELAL ticket & thought from reading from Dansdeals & ELAL’s website that you can get a voucher if you cancel.
When I went to Chase Ultimate rewards it says clearly “non refundable”. Is that old & really I can cancel & get a voucher?
I purchased from Chase UR in March & was able to get a voucher, did something change? When I did it in March it was simple. Went online for a voucher & gave it to a third person not related to me
If Chase has the wrong wording, how much before the flight can I cancel to get a voucher?

Reading ELAL website

https://www.elal.com/eng/useful-info/peace-of-mind

“Flight ticket modification or freezing - Destinations in the Americas
Just in case you have purchased a flight ticket to a flight to/from a destination in the Americas you can no longer take, or if you suddenly wish to change your destination with no change fees or handling fees for changing the date or even destination of your flight!
Subject to the following terms and conditions:
Passengers purchasing a flight ticket to/from destinations in the Americas only, until July 31st, 2024, are allowed to change or freeze their ticket for flights departing by July 31st, 2025 or one year from the day of ticketing, whichever comes first, with no change fees or handling fees.”
What am I missing?

Where do you see anything about a voucher?
very true. I “assumed” & apparently I was very wrong that when it said “are allowed to change or freeze their ticket..” it was a voucher. But I am obviously wrong. So if I buy a ticket I can change / freeze for the same person, correct? If the current ticket is less or more than what I paid for how does that work?
I want to buy a ticket for my son for Sukkos if he decides to come home (assuming ELAL pricing is going to go through the roof again..)

If you purchase the flight through a travel agent or on Elal's website, they have an option of adding $29 to make the ticket eligible to convert to a voucher.

wanted to use UR :(
What about using their option of rebooking the ticket is that simple, what about the price difference with the new booking?

If booking through Elal, then it should be simple to freeze and rebook, only for the same passenger. But Elal won't touch a ticket that you booked through a 3rd party (besides voucher if you paid the $29)

Cross posting due to time sensitivity.

ITA canceled flight from FCO to TLV. Any chance (or data points) on getting rebooked on EL AL. I know there are some DPs from Delta rebooking on El AL so curious if ITA will too considering they are also Sky Team. On hold with them, just want to know if there is precedent. FWIW Fight originated in the US and FCO was the stopover on the way to TLV. Flight was supposed to take off in a couple hours so stuck in FCO now. There is an EL AL flight tomorrow from FCO.

Have a flight LY92 NRT-TLV (last leg of a longer itinerary) which doesn’t let me add on any baggage online, showing me this:

Is it to optimistic to just assume that it includes a 50lb bag per person already which they never do? And if it doesn’t and I show up by the airport with a bag per person could they not let me then pay for additional bags? Just super confused rn any experience really appreciated

Check the trip summary on Elal App/website. It should say if bags are included (I've seen the msg above on tickets purchased with Alaska miles)

It's very nice how much this El Al tzaddik frum yid is exploiting the situation and raking in the profits from hiking the prices of tickets to Israel to highest ever.

הפקעת שערים בשעת מלחמה for greed purposes.

Supply and demand bla bla.

Please convince me otherwise.
