I need to rebook my ElAl flight out of Israel ASAP, but I am worried that by the time I get the voucher $$ it will be too late to book the new flight that I want - and then I will be left with no flight out.

it once took me 7 days to get it.
Other time it took 2 days

Showing Alaska but I don't think it's updated as didn't Alaska and El Al discontinue partnership (6/30/24?). It doesn't show Delta as an option also and I believe It is now.

Booked a flight today for travel prior to Oct 19, when trying to request a voucher:

"The ticket you entered does not qualify for any benefit. For your convenience, contact Customer Service to change your flight dates."

Anyone know if it is based on israel time of booking as per DDMS should be EST?

LY can request a voucher on the backend. Just ask them for it. No big deal.

Assuming should be good as was going to cancel and didn't want to risk it.

Afaik No. But you can use your points to book a ticket for someone else
