Would this go through El Al or Alaska? Last night El Al said only Alaska can touch the ticket, couldn't reach Alaska

Having trouble using my vouchers, LY Whatsapp tells me this and it works- a glitch in the system

Maybe try to input your first name as your last name and your last name as your first name, can you try that, please?

Any way to upgrade a coach ticket booked with DL miles to premium economy?

Is there a way to use a voucher and still charge some amount to cc for travel coverage?
You can maybe try to book it over the phone, to use the voucher they'll transfer you to some Israeli department

Here's my DP on this

I went through and made a booking but didn't pay. On the payment page there is a confirmation number. Called the Philippines and they pulled up my ticket.

I explained I wanted $10 on the cc the rest on the voucher. It took time to explain and even longer for them to do it.

In the end they did it, but there are two people on the reservation, and they charged separately. One using voucher only and one with voucher/cc.

So not sure if both are covered by cc since it's one reservation or not since charged separately.

Hmm, Would it come back right away to voucher or need to wait a week?
IME took a few days for the money to come back, so might be a good solution if you don't need the rest of the voucher in the next few days

I had booked an Elal flight while I was Gold and selected space seats for free. My flight is not yet but I lost my status and was downgraded to silver. Will I lose my selected seat?

I am Delta gold, if I swapped out my matmid number on reservation for my skymiles will I lose my seat?

ElAl reported third quarter profits of $187 million; 3.6x larger than same period last year

They are also keeping track on competition

Forget about the monopoly, if there are too many elites than capacity to provide perks, it sort of defeats the purpose of the FF program.

Maybe they should have some sort of grandfathering, where people who were elites prior to the recent disruptions in the market have lower tier requirements than Johnny come latelys do. I.E. reward long term loyalty.

For me, TP has become essentially worthless these days:
- I can hardly find a space in the TP lounge.

- I can't find front row seats in Y because typically other TP will have gotten them before me, months in advance.

- LY cancelled the perk of seat garantee in C class. And when I wait-list a seat in C fare, I'm basically told that there are 5-10 other TPs ahead of me on the list.

- And all the soft perks, like opening awards in E/X fares are pretty much gone.

- Yes I still have a dedicated agent I can speak to, but the answer is generally that he can't help me.

I've spoken to two CEO on local tech firms - together they have over 20,000 employees in Israel. They both said that when UA returns, they will make sure most of their travel business goes to them when possible. And it's not the only ones I know who think like that

If I have a round trip ticket to NY but I need to move up my outbound (to this week). I found availability to WAW on El Al for my outbound date, will El Al allow me to make the change on my outbound resulting in an open jaw TLV-WAW, JFK-TLV?

2 hours before is enough, if you want a bit extra time 2.5 hours is the earliest I'd arrive

What about from TLV? Used to be 3 hours recommended. 6am flight.
